Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of VendorDex, a marketplace and event operations platform for trading card game shows.

Acceptance of Terms

Plain English: using VendorDex means you agree to these rules.

By creating an account, browsing the site, listing inventory, organizing events, applying for booths, or using any VendorDex feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VendorDex.

The VendorDex Platform

Plain English: VendorDex connects attendees, vendors, and organizers at card shows.

VendorDex helps TCG vendors, event organizers, and attendees discover shows, manage vendor participation, publish booth and inventory information, and search for cards available at events.

Vendor Responsibilities

Plain English: vendors must list cards honestly and follow through at shows.

Keep inventory listings, prices, conditions, quantities, and card details accurate.
Honor listed prices unless a clear listing error or show policy issue requires correction.
Attend shows for which you are approved or promptly notify organizers if plans change.
Comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, and organizer requirements.

Organizer Responsibilities

Plain English: organizers must keep event and booth details accurate.

Provide accurate event names, dates, locations, venue details, and public event information.
Manage booth assignments, vendor approvals, event status, and floor map information responsibly.
Clearly communicate booth fees, payment requirements, refund rules, and event policies.
Use VendorDex payment and messaging tools only for legitimate event operations.

Attendee Conduct

Plain English: attendees should use VendorDex respectfully and lawfully.

Attendees may search inventory, save wishlist items, browse events, and contact vendors or organizers where features allow. You may not harass users, scrape the service, interfere with events, submit false reports, or use VendorDex for unlawful activity.

Prohibited Content

Plain English: no scams, fakes, or fraudulent listings.

Counterfeit cards, fake slabs, misleading grades, or knowingly inaccurate card listings.
Fraudulent event pages, booth applications, payment claims, or vendor profiles.
Content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy, or promotes illegal conduct.

Payments and Fees

Plain English: VendorDex may charge subscriptions and process organizer booth fees.

VendorDex may offer free and paid subscription tiers, event passes, organizer tools, and booth payment processing. Organizer booth fees may be processed through VendorDex and third-party payment providers. Fees, taxes, platform charges, refund availability, and billing terms may vary by product and event.

Intellectual Property

Plain English: VendorDex owns its app; card images and data may come from third parties.

VendorDex, its design, branding, software, and platform content are owned by VendorDex or its licensors. Card names, images, prices, and reference data may be sourced from or linked to third-party services such as TCGPlayer, Pokémon APIs, Scryfall, or other card databases. Those materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and terms.

Termination and Suspension

Plain English: accounts can be suspended for misuse or risk to the marketplace.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts, listings, event pages, or access to features if we believe a user violates these Terms, creates risk for other users, submits fraudulent information, or harms the integrity of VendorDex.

Limitation of Liability

Plain English: VendorDex is a tool, not a guarantee of every transaction or event outcome.

VendorDex is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, VendorDex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, event cancellations, disputed sales, listing errors, user conduct, or third-party service failures.

Governing Law

Plain English: Delaware law applies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.
